When traveling the world I was often in search to find a local winery with a passion to produce unique and high quality wines, which were not discovered by the crowd (yet). From Mendoza to Trier, from New Zealand to Portugal and from Bolivia to Sardine. Every country and every region has its own character and beauty to reveal.
Back home the latest catch was well preserved on the top shelf, waiting for the perfect food match. Sometimes selected by a recipe passing by, but often the marriage arose by looking for a recipe which was paring best with the wine.
This passion for wine and food pairing was not unnoticed by family, friends and colleagues. Several dinners have been served with pairing wines and wine advise was often provided with a big dosis of enthusiasm.
Encouraged by my wife Suzanne I decided to start my own business in delivering wines to mid and high class restaurants. Not long after that specialty stores and business gifts were also added to the portfolio.
Today I'm still happy and proud to serve customers who have the same passion for quality products with a personal touch.
